1/24/2012 VooDootec (LI-S4) Stealth Valentine One remote display
I received my remote display back from Michael earlier this week and finally had time to install it tonight. He provided easy as can be instructions (click here if inline pfd does not display below). The current browser does not support Web pages that contain the IFRAME element. To use this Web Part, you must use a browser that supports this element, such as Internet Explorer 7.0 or later. I also added my mute button onto the stalk. I had this one my B5 S4 and loved having the easy mute right there on the back of the turn signal stalk: no need to move a hand off the steering wheel at all, just slight extension of middle finger to back of stalk, and muted. You just need a 2-to-1 RJ11 splitter which you plug into the accessory input of the V1 power box which then allows you to have both the remote display and the mute button active. Instructions on the mute button mounting (also from Michael): 98% done. Need to get some fresh double-sided tape to hold the button in place (and then I can remove the electrical tape near button..might think about glue gun for where the tape is closer to the steering column, or just wrap the electrical all the way around the stalk. That's how I had it in the B5, and I never noticed the tape there). Other than that: perfect! In case you don't know, you can email Michael about getting one of these for yourself.
